COVID-19 VACCINE (JANSSEN) AVAILABLE IN ALL HICKEY’S PHARMACIES FOR 50 YEARS & OVER

From this week, all 36 Hickey’s Pharmacies will begin receiving supplies of the Janssen Covid vaccine to administer to patients 50 years and over for free. The single dose Janssen Covid vaccine is effective 14 days after being administered. As the vaccines come in vials that contain multiple doses we will be co-ordinating appointments for patients to minimise any wastage of vaccine once the vials have been opened. Patients can register for an appointment in-store or for convenience, select their preferred Hickey’s and provide their contact details on our website. A team member will then call to arrange an appointment when the vaccine is available in-store.

All Hickey’s Pharmacies have a private consultation room - the Covid vaccination will be given in the privacy of these rooms.
