Travel Health Tips
Take simple precautions before and during travel to stay well:
- Water Safety: Avoid tap water, ice cubes, and uncooked foods in high-risk areas.
- Insect Protection: Use repellent (DEET-based), wear long clothing, and use mosquito nets where required.
- Malaria: If travelling to a malaria zone, you may need Malarone, Doxycycline, or Lariam.
- Travel Sickness & Jet Lag: Stay hydrated, rest before your flight, and take recommended travel aids if needed.
- First Aid Kit: Pack essentials like pain relief, antihistamines, rehydration sachets, and your prescribed meds.
- Sun Protection: Use SPF 50+, wear protective clothing, and avoid midday sun.
