How do I sign up to Hickey's Loyalty?
Follow the steps below to sign up to Hickey's Loyalty and you can start shopping and enjoy the benefits straight away.
1. Drop into your local Hickey's Pharmacy Store
2. Ask one of our helpful colleagues for a form and fill out the loyalty form
3. You MUST supply an email address and/or mobile number when registering. This will enable us to identify you when you use your loyalty account in store.
4. Our colleagues will register you in the store or you can bring the application form back at a later date that suits you.
5. If you don’t want to miss out on upcoming promotions, please ensure you opt in to receive communications via email or text.
What are the benefits?
1. Earn 1 point for every €1 spent in store. This excludes Prescriptions, over the counter medicines, baby formula and giftcards.
2. New customers get a 200 point welcome bonus (worth €2) to spend in store
3. Exclusive offers for loyalty customers
4. 20% off in store the week of your birthday. In order to receive this offer, you must provide your date of birth upon registration. Offer is valid for the full week of your birthday ie if your birthday falls on a Saturday, the offer is valid from the Monday prior until the Sunday after your birthday.
5. Use your points balance in real time. If you want to redeem your balance at any stage you can.
How do I spend my points?
You can spend your points any time on almost anything in-store. When you get to the till, just hand over your Loyalty Card or give our colleague your email /mobile number and let the colleague know you’d like to pay with your points. Transactions excludes Prescriptions, over the counter medicines, baby formula and giftcards.
Please note: We are also unable to accept points online.
How do I check my points balance?
Our colleagues in store can check your points balance for you.

Data Protection
Hickey’s Pharmacy owns and operates the ‘Hickey’s Rewards’ customer rewards scheme for customers of the Hickey’s Pharmacy member. The scheme involves the gathering of personal data of participating customers for the purpose of administering the scheme and providing the scheme benefits to customers, as well as marketing and business analysis. The Data Controller for the ‘Hickey’s Rewards’ scheme is Hickey’s Pharmacy (also referred to as the Promoter). The information on this registration form will be retained by PDI Technologies Ltd. T/A Azpiral, the Data Processor appointed by the Promoter to operate the ‘Hickey’s Reward’s scheme. This information on this registration process will only be processed by the Data Processor and the Data Controller, No personal data will be divulged to any third parties (outside of Hickey’s Pharmacy or its data processors). You have the right to request a copy of your data at any time.
Rewards Terms & Conditions
1. The Promoter of the Hickey's Rewards scheme is Hickey's Pharmacy.
2. You can obtain rewards at Hickey's Pharmacies exclusively. Anyone over 18 years of age who registers their details can join. Your reward accounts is for your personal use however, friends and family may apply for a card of their own.
3. Hickey's Pharmacy can cancel, withdraw or alter the scheme, including these terms and conditions at any time.
4. Hickey's Pharmacy can take any action it considers appropriate if it has reason to believe that you are abusing the scheme.
5. Points can only be saved while making a purchase. Your mobile number must be given to the cashier at the checkout whilst making a purchase in order to gain rewards points.
1 point will be awarded for every €1 you spend in store. You can redeem your points at any time as a discount against your purchase directly at checkouts. Points will be deducted for the reward of refunds given. Points cannot be spent (or accumulated) on prescription items, licensed medicines, infant milks, gift cards, saving stamps and the plastic bag levy.
6. 1 point is worth 1 cent to spend on products in store. Reward points cannot be redeemed for cash and points cannot be spent to purchase gift cards. You will not qualify for points on any item you pay for with points. The total number of points will be deducted from your account. If you decide to return a product which you bought with card, cash or cheque, the points will be deducted from your reward account that you collected from the purchase of that product.
7. Hickey's Pharmacy may vary the periods of when points may be saved or redeemed. Points will be accumulated on every purchase – excluding restricted items.
8. Products may be excluded at the discretion of the Promoter or by operation of law.
9. The Promoter reserves the right to reject any points it deems to have been obtained in breach of these terms and conditions.
10. The Promoter’s decision shall be final and binding in all matters regarding the Hickey's Rewards programme.
11. Hickey's Pharmacy will remove Reward points from Hickey's Reward accounts that haven’t been used for 12 months or have been closed.
12. We use information relating to you in order to provide you with services such as the Hickey's Rewards programme and to make the sites available to you personalised and develop our relationship with you. We use information to develop and personalise the services so that we understand how you are using the services and the sites and to enable us to communicate with you more effectively, through the sites, by e-mail or text or other electronic address provided by you, by mobile Apps, or by other third party sites including social media channels. Our use of this information is for the following purposes:
- Process your registration application and any renewals or amendments to terms;
- Create and maintain accounts;
- Calculate and charge for our services, as appropriate;
- Provide customer care services;
- Supply any products and services;
- Carry out analysis of your information, in order develop our relationship with you and/or to develop and personalise the services;
- Keep you informed about new services, developments, special offers, and any discounts or awards which we believe may be of personal interest to you, or which you may be entitled to;
- Inform you of our sponsored events;
- Inform you of our promotions;
- Carry out market research;
- Prevent, detect and investigate fraud, or any other criminal activity;
- Investigate improper use of the Services;
- Carry out activities necessary to the running of our business, including system testing, network monitoring, staff training, quality control and any legal proceedings;
- Carry out any activities or disclosures to comply with any regulatory, government or legal obligations;
- Achieve any other lawful purpose, including the sharing with third parties where you have given any consent required by law
