Hickey's Pharmacy were awarded a Silver Medal at the 2006 Parent's Choice Awards. Hickey's scooped the award in the category of Child Friendly Pharmacy of the year.

Hickey's Pharmacy, Watergate Street, was included in Ireland's Top 50 Retail Stores by the FBD Crest Retail Excellence Awards 2006.



Total employment in the company is approximately 300 people. Hickey’s Pharmacies have ambitious development plans and project further growth in the coming years. These additional outlets will be a mixture of new openings and acquisitions, and will be both within Dublin and in significant provincial towns. It is intended that new, larger stores will carry a wider range of fragrance, beauty, toiletry and photographic lines, in addition to the normal medical and prescription product ranges.
